Wonka!!!

This month has been chock full of painting! whew! These three pieces are for the "Wonka" show at the Alcove Gallery in Atlanta. I based all of these from the 70's classic movie that I have loved since I've been a wee tot. In the book, Veruca gets taken away by a pack of squirrels; But I have aways loved in the movie when she falls down the garbage chute because she's a bad egg.

This painting is for the "Don't Wake Daddy 2" show in Hamburg, Germany. Last year's show was awesome, and this year has a great lineup of artists! Here are a few Target Gift Cards I designed; and are in stores now! :) The hippo card is that crazy lenticular process that almost looks like video. The hippo skates, twirls, and skates off to the right.
